Before you can use one, you’ll want to understand what an LED light therapy device is. LED light therapy devices use different wavelengths of light to treat a variety of skin concerns, including inflammation, signs of aging, and acne. Almost all skin types can benefit from LED treatments – it’s easy to incorporate them into your daily care routine with a device at home. Daily use of LEDs such as red and blue light can boost collagen production and treat and prevent breakouts. Pair your LED device with topical skin care products for optimal results.<\/p>\n

First things first, make sure your device is fully charged (USB Type-C charging cable included).It takes approximately 3 hours to fully charge SGROW LED Mask device. You can perform up to 10 treatments on a full charge.<\/p>\n

Step 1: wash your face<\/p>\n

The first step in any effective skin care routine is cleansing your face. The face must be free of sweat, makeup, and topical products for the LED light to properly penetrate and treat the skin. Start by removing your makeup, paying attention to the “forgettable” areas like your eyelids, jawline, and neck. For stubborn makeup, try a leave-in cleanser. Thoroughly remove all impurities with a gentle soap-free cleanser, ensuring you cleanse without damaging your skin’s moisture barrier.<\/p>\n

Save topical products like serums and moisturizers for use after LED treatment, as applying before treatment may disrupt light penetration. Use a serum, moisturizer, etc. after your LED treatment and you will find that your skin absorbs it faster.<\/p>\n

Step 2: Selecting the treatment mode<\/p>\n

SGROW LED mask device has 6 treatment modes. Each mode corresponds to a different effect. They can be selected according to their effects, and the following is a description of their functions<\/p>\n

Mode 1: Blue LED: The blue LED targets and kills acne-causing bacteria to treat and prevent acne. Mode 2: Red LED:<\/p>\n

Red LED light stimulates the production of natural collagen by connecting with receptors in the skin. Collagen is the key to firm, toned and healthy skin. More collagen means fewer wrinkles, worry lines, fine lines and sagging.<\/p>\n

Mode 3: Orange and Red LEDs have the ability to energize skin cells, increase blood circulation, and improve skin metabolism<\/p>\n

Mode 4: Red and Infrared LEDs: Great for rejuvenating facial skin, smoothing skin tone, building collagen, reducing wrinkles, and repairing sun damage.<\/p>\n

Mode 5: Orange, red and infrared LED: functions to revitalize facial skin, smooth skin tone, build collagen, reduce wrinkles, activate skin cells, promote blood circulation, and improve skin metabolism.<\/p>\n

Mode Mode 6: Combination light:\u00a0Use the combination setting to treat all of the above.<\/p>\n

Step 3: Begin Treatment<\/p>\n

Remove and detoxify SGROW LED mask and place it on clean, dry skin. For SGROW mask, use the hands-free strap to securely fasten the device to your head. Press and hold the Mode button for 2 seconds to power on the device. The device will start in red mode. Press the button again to enter mode 2 and so on.<\/p>\n

After the set time has counted down, the treatment is finished and the device will switch off automatically. All treatment modes will switch off at the end of the set countdown time.<\/p>\n

Step 4: Storing the unit safely<\/p>\n

Store the device in the drawstring bag or case provided. The cloth bag protects the device from dust, dirt or bacteria build-up. Keep the device in a cool, dry place that is convenient for daily use.<\/p>\n

To sterilise your device, gently wipe it with an alcohol-soaked cotton pad. Be sure to clean your device between uses to remove any transferred skin oils preventing bacteria build-up.<\/p>\n

Step 5: Use with Compatible Products<\/p>\n

Facial cleansing and LED light therapy are just one step in a skincare routine. alpha- and beta-hydroxy acids, vitamin C, retinol and hyaluronic acid are well-researched and proven ingredients that are essential to a strong skincare routine. Serums and moisturisers are also indispensable after the light therapy.<\/p>\n
